Making care more human: The BrightCare Story
BrightCare began with a conversation between two women who shared a simple belief: care should feel more human.
'With years of experience, knowledge and a shared passion for helping others, we set out to create a different approach to companionship and wellbeing - one where genuine relationships sit at the heart of everything we do.
Because we believe people deserve more than a service. They deserve meaningful connection, companionship and the freedom to continue living a life filled with joy, purpose and the things that matter most to them.'
Where it all began...
One of our founders has worked in care for many years, both as a care assistant and as a live-in carer. Through her experience, she saw firsthand the profound difference that a genuine human connection can make.
She also saw how easily care could become routine. Tasks were completed, and practical needs were met, but sometimes something important was missing: the warmth of friendship, the comfort of shared laughter, and the confidence that comes from feeling truly known and understood.
She knew there had to be another way.
Our second founder brought a complementary combination of leadership, management and professional expertise. With a degree in Business Information Management, a Master's in Early Years (EYTS), a part of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), and extensive experience across customer service, safeguarding and organisational development, she shared the same vision: to build a professional and trusted service without ever losing sight of the person at its heart.
'Together, we asked a simple question: What if companionship could be about helping someone live well, rather than simply helping them get through the day?'
Today, BrightCare brings together professional standards and genuine human connection to provide personalised companionship, wellbeing support and live-in companionship. We take the time to understand each person, their personality, interests, routines, and aspirations, so that our support feels personal rather than prescribed.

Our philosophy is simple: Everyone deserves someone in their corner.
Someone who listens. Someone who laughs. Someone who understands. BrightCare exists to help people continue living life on their own terms, with the reassurance of having someone beside them who genuinely cares.
